Note: These terms have been drafted to reflect how RevHub currently operates. They should be reviewed by a qualified Australian solicitor before being relied upon as a final legal document.
1. About RevHub
RevHub is an online educational platform operated by Revision Hub Pty Ltd(ABN 15 696 856 738). We provide AI-powered English revision tools for students in Years 7–9 (ages 11–14), including Writing Worksheets, a Vocab Builder, an Essay Planning Tool, and a Writing Coach.
By creating an account or using RevHub, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Who can use RevHub
To create an account and subscribe to RevHub, you must be at least 18 years old. RevHub is designed for use by parents and guardians with their children.
- The parent or guardian is the account holder and the contracting party. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
- Children (aged 11–14) use the platform under your supervision. While the tools are designed for independent use by students, the account and subscription are managed by you.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the information entered into RevHub (including book titles) is appropriate for your child.
3. Your account
When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Keep your login details secure and not share them with others
- Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission
We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscription and pricing
RevHub is a paid subscription service. Here’s how it works:
Pricing
Current pricing is displayed on the RevHub website at the time of sign-up. Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. [TO CONFIRM — GST registration status and whether prices are GST-inclusive]
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly. Your subscription begins on the date you first subscribe and renews automatically on the same date each month. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Auto-renewal
Your subscription renews automatically each month and your payment method will be charged at the start of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings.
Free trial
RevHub may offer a free trial to new users. If a trial is offered, you can use the service during the trial period at no cost. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged. The trial terms will be clearly displayed at the time of sign-up.
Usage limits
Your subscription includes a set number of worksheet generations, Writing Coach sessions, and other tool uses per billing cycle. Current limits are displayed in your account. Usage resets at the start of each billing cycle.
Price changes
We may change our pricing from time to time. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice before the new price takes effect. You can cancel your subscription before the price change applies if you do not wish to continue at the new price.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Here’s how it works:
- How to cancel: Through your account settings on the RevHub website. No phone calls, no emails required — you can do it yourself in under a minute.
- When it takes effect: Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to RevHub until that date.
- No cancellation fees: There are no penalties or fees for cancelling.
6. Refunds
We want to be straightforward about refunds:
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund if our service has a major failure — for example, if RevHub does not work as described, is substantially unfit for its purpose, or is significantly different from what was advertised. These are your statutory rights and nothing in these terms limits or excludes them.
Discretionary refunds
If you cancel mid-cycle, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused time within a billing cycle, except where required by law.
How to request a refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us at hello@revhubhq.com.au. We will respond within 14 days. Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method.
7. Acceptable use
RevHub is an educational tool for families. When using the service, you agree not to:
- Use RevHub for any purpose other than personal educational use
- Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple households to use a single account
- Attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt the platform’s systems or security
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with RevHub

RevHub’s content

Generated worksheets and content
Worksheets, vocab exercises, planning tools, and Writing Coach feedback generated through your account are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may print and use them at home with your child. You may not redistribute, sell, or publish them — including sharing them on social media, uploading them to other platforms, or providing them to other families.
Your child’s writing
Any writing your child submits to the Writing Coach remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your child’s work. We use it only to generate feedback, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. AI-generated content
RevHub uses artificial intelligence (specifically, Anthropic’s Claude) to generate worksheets, vocabulary exercises, essay plans, and Writing Coach feedback. You should be aware of the following:
- All content is generated by AI based on the inputs provided (book title, year group, writing skill, student writing).
- While we design our prompts carefully and align content to the Australian Curriculum, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies.
- RevHub is a supplementary educational tool. It is not a substitute for professional teaching, tutoring, or educational advice.
- We review and refine our AI prompts regularly to maintain quality, but we cannot guarantee that every piece of generated content will be perfect.
In plain English:RevHub is built to help your child practise and improve their writing. It’s a revision tool, not a replacement for their teacher. If you ever notice something that doesn’t look right, let us know and we’ll fix it.
10. Consumer guarantees
Under the Australian Consumer Law, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are not limited by these terms):

- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of RevHub.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid to RevHub in the 12 months before the claim arose.
12. Disputes
If you have a dispute or complaint about RevHub, we’d like to resolve it directly. Here’s the process:
- Contact us first at hello@revhubhq.com.au. We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days and work to resolve it within 30 days.
- If we can’t resolve it, you may escalate the matter through the applicable Australian consumer protection body or tribunal in your state or territory.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the state in which Revision Hub Pty Ltd is registered. [TO CONFIRM — state of registration, e.g. Victoria, New South Wales]
14. Termination
You can stop using RevHub and cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these terms
- Your payment fails repeatedly and is not resolved
- We are required to do so by law
If we terminate your account for reasons other than a breach of these terms, we will provide a pro-rata refund for any unused portion of your current billing cycle.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do:
- We will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
